Stamp, Scrap and Doodle Saturday

Happy Saturday! This week at Stamp, Scarp and Doodle Saturday the challenge is Monochromatic.  Our sponsor is Ike from Ike's World. Her shop is called Ike's Art. I used her image called Boris to make my card.
The color I used is black. I just had to add the gold because a good friend is like gold. Right? The sentiment is form SU. The corner that looks red is really the same as the top left. It is just a reflection of my shirt, I think.
I hope you will join us SSDS this week. The winner will have some fun images to pick from Ike's store.
Have a wonderful Saturday!

Urge to Purge Stickles Clean Up

Hi There, I got the cleaning bug. I caught it from June at Simply Elegant Paper Crafts. She has challenged herself to purge her craft room one day at a time.  You can watch her progress. Day one starts here.
I decided to do something about my Stickles bottles.
Here is a video to show how I cleaned up the bottles being everywhere.

Thank you June for the motivation to get started on cleaning up my craft room.

My Creative Time

Hi Everyone, I read that Emma at My Creative Time is having a DT call and I would LOVE to be on her team. She is so positive and has created a wonderful line of stamps and dies.  I am not just saying that to get on the team. I really love her stamps and dies. I have learned so much about stamping, using my Cricut and Gypsy from Emma.
OK I really had a hard time deciding on what to make that would get me on her team. I had so many ideas.
I decided to used these two sets. They are from last months release and I LOVE THEM!

I created a Thank You card using the letters and grid from Anyday Bingo & Crossword set.

The little fence was made with the Build a Banner Kit and the letters are from Anyday Bingo & Crossword.
I used a MS punch for the liner to match the fence on the front.

Then because I was having so much fun with the XL Label Die I decided use Whimsical Calendar Day to do a page in my Smash book.
October was so much fun I thought I should record some of the things I did. Here is the page before I journal on it.

I created a little journaling pocket. Now I just have to remember that the numbers are not the real ones that is why it is called Whimsical.

I would be trilled and honored to be on Emma's team. This would be a dream come true.

Another Beautiful Day

Hi Everyone,
We had another beautiful day in Wisconsin on Saturday. My husband wanted to go for a walk on one of his favorite fishing streams. The trout season is over so we couldn't do any fishing but it was fun seeing all the fish. They came up and made faces at my hubby as if to say, "You can catch me not." It was killing him not to be able to fish but this was his idea.
Here are a couple of pictures he took of me climbing a tree over the river.

I wasn't sure I wanted to go any higher.

But I did.
My hair is all flat and a mess because I had a cap on. He always wants me to take my sunglasses and hat off for pictures.
Then I decided to climb a big rock in the river.  I really had fun and the water was so clear I could see tons of trout.  A couple were huge.
It is a beautiful river in an amazing forest with outstanding rock structures.

I can't tell you were we were because a fisherman never tell his spots. If I told you I would be is sooooo much trouble. LOL

I sure hope you get to enjoy to beauty in nature and that you take time to connect with the source that gives us so much peace. I know I always feel so refreshed after a day like this.

Peace and Love,

Crafters Digital Art Center Card PC#5

The card I have for you today is made from another image from Crafter's Digital Art Center Progressive Challenge #5. You know I am learning so much at the CDAC. This digital stamp on this card is from Digis by Phooka.

I learned, "that the image is a Christmas 'wotnot' - and they comes in every color of the rainbow!   Traditionally they live only in an area called "Imagination", and are visible only to those who believe.  They have no shape or form of their own, and take on the look of whatever the believer thinks is cute - so I think bunnies are cute therefore my Christmas wotnot looks like a bunny."  Very interesting, don't you think? I love that they come in every color of the rainbow. I had this big pad of Christmas DP and the colors are nontraditional. So I colored my bunny Phooka to match the paper. Hmmmm your can't see much of it can you? LOL

I used a SU EF on the base card. I think this is a really a fun
nontraditional Christmas card. What do you think?

LESSology Wall Art

Hi Everyone welcome to another fun challenge at LESSology. This week our challenge is to create some kind of wall art. Our sponsor this week is Tradefish Designs.

TradeFish Designs (aka “TFD”) was established by Cecilia Stephens in April 2011 in Raleigh, North Carolina. TFD was created because she felt there was a need for stamps sets crafters could use in cards, scrapbook pages and other crafty projects for the boys and men in our lives. TFD is devoted to creating stamps with masculine themes, imagery and sentiments. You can use the images and sentiments for feminine cards or projects too, but the focus in the design work for TFD stamp sets is really about the boys.
Visit TradeFish Designs to learn more and check out the latest designs!

The amazing prize for Challenge #4 is a $20 Gift Certificate to the Tradefish Designs store.

I won the set I use from Kate at Scrappers Creative Corner.  The set is call "Outta this World." This is a fun set!

                             I started with...

a $1.50 board from St. Vinnie's.
I used every stamp in the set and this is what I ended up with this.

I even made some charms with Shrinky Dinks shrinkable plastic.

This was really a fun project. I hope you will join us and share a project you create for your wall.
Thank you Cecilia for the generous prize.

Here is the video of what I did to create my "Outta this World" message board.

Throwback Thursday and Sneak Peek Time

Hi Everyone,
Boy it seems to be a long time since I played along with the Throwback Thursday challenge. AND... Now it is time for this month's sneak peeks.
Well, I made a card for the challenge but I missed one important detail. The challenge is suppose to be a Halloween Theme, Shape Card.  I missed the shape part. Oh well. I used two sets of Emma's last release on my card and I have to tell you I am in love with her banner die set. It is so easy to use and works perfect on cards.
Here is my card.
The skull is from Indie Art. The base is gray. The next layer is gold. The top paper is some I had that is black with gold swirls. The light didn't pick up the colors very good. The colors show up better in this video.

Be sure to stop back tomorrow at noon and check out the new LESSology Challenge.
Have a great evening and be sure to do something that feeds your Spirit.

Stamp, Scrap and Doodle Saturday

Happy Saturday!
This week our challenge is sponsored by the fabulous Paper Fashions.

Our challenge is called Falling for You (anything about leaves?) I love the images we were given to work with. Here is the card I am.

Because it is a digital image I could make the leaves and sentiment any size and put them anywhere I wanted on my card. Their are so many advantages to using digital images.
Here is a little video about  card.

I hope you will join us this week at SSDS for our challenge.

Have a wonderful weekend and remember to do something that makes your Spirit Soar!

Stamp Scarp and Doodle Saturday!

Hi Everyone,
Happy Saturday! It is time for a  new challenge at Stamp, Scrap and Doodle Saturday.
Our sponsor this week is a dear friend of mine who has a wonderful Esty shop called The Wooden Hindge. She has donated a $5.00 gift certificate.
The challenge this week  is "Things That Are Round"
Here is my card:
The image is one from last months Progressive Challenge at Crafters Digital Art Center.  I believe it is from Just Inklined.
I used Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Circles to create the card base. It is colored with copic markers and I went over the butterfly with Glassy accents.

The weather has been so beautiful here in Wisconsin. It is hard to stay in and craft. I hope you will find a little bit of time to join our challenge this week at SSDS.

Have a wonderful weekend,

CDAC Progressive Freebie Challenge

Hi Everyone, Have you joined the Progressive Challenge at Crafters Digital Art Center yet? There are some great image this month. The digital image I used for this card is a Design2Delight Digital Stamp. I think it is so adorable.

I also made this card for Creating the Crafty Life. The challenger there is orange. I also used their card layout.

I colored the image with copic markers and used a little stickles in the pumpkins eyes, nose and mouth. I think  its needs a little more shading or distressing.

Well head over to CDAC and get in on the progressive challenge. Also check out Creating the Crafty Life. There  is a lot of fun stuff going on there.
