Beaded Pin Swap

Hi Everyone,
Well I received all my pins from the Crafters Digital Art Center swap and I thought you might like to see them.

I want to thank Sammibug for hosting the swap and getting all those pins to everyone.  I received pins from 13 people. Some of them more than one set. There were 13 groups with 6 people each. That is 78 sets of pins to sort and mail. Amazing! Well done Sammi!

I made a video but I must apologize I didn't say every one's name and blog. Then I had to cut so much to keep it under 10 minutes. I hope you get some good ideas for making your own beaded pins.

Thank you to the 13 ladies who created all these lovely pins.
If you have any questions just ask.
Thanks for stopping and watching,

Window Envelope Swap

Hi Everyone,
Well I am back at home after a 6 day road trip from WI to up state NY. It was a lot of fun. I went with a friend to pick up her sweet little granddaughter. She is 6 years old and just finish first grade. She was so much fun to travel with. She never wined or complained and showed so much enjoyment in everything from the sights along the road to us pushing her on the luggage cart.  On the way out, before we picked her up, my friend and I hit a couple of wonderful bead shops and some really special shops in Andes, NY.  That is the neatest little town. No cell reception but wonderful little shops. I will tell you more about that another day. Today I want to share a video I made a while ago.
I was in a Window Envelope Swap at TracysTreasures24. It was so much fun and I want to show you what I made. The charm is from the the Etsy shop of the friend I went to NY with. It is called The Wooden Hinge. Her hubby and her have some wonderful products. I hope you will check them out.
Here is what I created.

Not the best picture I took it from the video with the screen camera.

I would love to hear what you think.

I haven’t been able to answer all of them because I am on a road trip with a friend.  We are driving from WI to up state NY to pick up her granddaughter.  We would drive and stop at bead shops and by the time we got to a hotel at night I couldn’t keep my eyes open.

Hi Again My Peachy Friends, Welcome to my second day as the guest DT here at Peachy Keen Stamps.  I am so excited because today Peachy Keen has a sketch challenge for you.  You can read all about it here.
Did you know that here in the USA June 14th is Flag Day? In 1885, 108 years after anniversary of the official adoption of The Stars and Stripes as our flag, a teacher  right here in Wisconsin, arranged for his class to have a "Flag" Birthday Party. Sixty four years later, in 1949, President Truman signed an Act of congress designating June 14th of each year as the National Flag Day
"Happy Flag Day Everyone!"

I created this card following this weeks sketch in honor of this celebration and Betsy Ross the seamstress who is believed to have made the first flag.
Here is  sketch.

The stamp set I used was PK490 Everyday Character Faces Assortment. It is a must have if you have the Cricut cartridges Everyday Paper Dolls or Paper Dolls All Dressed Up. It also works great for flowers and suns and, well, just about anything.  This is a great first set.

Cuttlebug Embossing Folder "Stars"

Father's Day

Hi Everyone,
Our challenge this week at Stamp, Scrap and Doodle Saturday is to make a Father's Day card.  Just in time. right?

Today our challenge is sponsored by Squigglefly.  There are so many wonderful images over there for the right price.

I used the an adorable Squigglefly image called "I Love You Daddy" by Lynne Stansbery to create my card. Isn't it a great image and it only cost $.99. The prices are amazing.
I added the sentiment by creating a text box and typing what I wanted. That is what is so great about digi stamps.

I wish I could give this to my Dad but he is gone. I am going to send it to my step son and sign it from my granddaughter. He will get a kick out of it.

Head over to SSDS and see what the other DT's have created. Then  head over to Squigglefly and check out all there wonderful stamps. The winner will receive three free digi stamps.

I Did It Creations

I was introduced to this great blog and just had to join in on this challenge. The blog is called I Did It Creations Challenge Blog. The coolest thing is you can request a free digi that any one of the DTs used in the challenge. So I requested one and I love it. The challenge is called Hats.

Here are the cards I made.

I had to make two different cards. The top one I went over the white paper with SU Crumb Cake to make it look a little older. I did the second one first and wasn't sure if I like the how white it was but I do now. I love Cameos and when I got the Beaded Ovals die cut this is what I had in mind to make. I am so happy to have this digi. I can make it any size I want. Thanks I Did It Creations!  The DP is from SU.

I went over the image and the beads around the image with CTMH Liquid Glass. It is nice and glossy. The pictures could be better but it is so hot out today that I didn't want to keep running in and out of the air. I am sick with a sinus infection. So that wouldn't be a good thing to do.

Now I am off to rest!

Hi I just saw some amazing candy to share.  Jessica at Chick-n-Scrap is celebrating 300 Followers with this amazing giveaway.

If you sign up please tell her I sent you.

OK now I will rest. well maybe.
